Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley, June 3, 2016 @ Glenwood Vaudeville
Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley will perform at the Glenwood Vaudeville Friday June 3, 2016. Rob is multiple IBMA award winning dobro player formerly of Blue Highway. He played the Vaudeville previously with Jim Hurst. Try Hensley has a voice with the soul of Merle Haggard and a versatile tonality that has an old school country sound but is freshly cut. Their new CD "Rob Ickes and Try Hensley..before the sun goes down" was nominated for a Grammy for best Bluegrass Album. I will confess it holds a few sweet bluegrass tunes...but mostly is reminiscent of old school country....straight up, no chaser.

Showtime 7:30.Doors open at 6:30. Admission $20 per person. Food and beverage may be purchased for additional cost. Goofy Vaudeville staff....FREE...but tips are appreciated. See below to reserve your seats!

Blue Heron Productions produce intimate concerts with outstanding artists in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
This fall we plan to use the Glenwood Vaudeville Theatre....a refurbished movie theatre with stage, sound and lighting already established. Not that I mind shleping my stage around......but a little less roadie work is good. With food service and a full bar....this looks like a great opportunity.
We will sometimes use the beautiful HOTEL COLORADO, this is an historic old Hotel with several seating possibilities, unique past, superb ambiance, wonderful staff, and a great location. We like to think we are adding a little musical history to the place!
All shows are general admission. Kids 12 and under are always free with paid adult.
There is lots of public parking near the Vaudeville Theatre.....Woot Woot....Nice!
Remember, if we use the Hotel Colorado, parking can be a little tight. Consider parking in the downtown area and walking across the pedestrian bridge. Its a short walk! Good for you too!
If you would like to be added to our Event Notification Email List, just sign up above and let us know! We only send out notifications a couple times before each show.....so we promise not to fill up your inbox.
